Jan Ingemar Stenmark said Ingo (Storuman, March 18, 1956) is a Swedish former alpine skier.
specialist in technical disciplines (slalom and giant slalom), is seen by a large majority of experts and fans of the greatest skier of all time. With 86 hits in the World Cup (46 and 40 in the giant slalom) and the skier with the most career victories in the history of Alpine skiing.
addition to victories in World Cup (won in 1976, 1977 and 1978), Stenmark has two Olympic gold medals (slalom and giant slalom) in Lake Placid in 1980, and five gold medals at the World Cup (slalom and giant slalom in 1978 and in 1982), plus those in Lake Placid in 1980 (Olympic Gold in those days was also true for the World Cup).
