grandparents are back in Italy. We were left a little more rested, with the freezer full of food to be defrosted when needed and useful packages of pasta to feed an army.
Tomorrow night I have dinner at my house with two families that I met here in america. In everything we are 4 adults and 8 children. Do not ask me how I get some ideas because I wonder, too. Initially I thought I thaw one of the famous dishes of the grandmother, then I thought maybe I can do it too alone to make a Dinner is typically Italian. But I have a problem.
So, hors d'oeuvres: canapés with tuna mousse and pizza (yes, ok, this has made me my mother-in-law I just have to defrost).
First: lasagne and risotto alla pilota.
Desserts: tiramisu Ciccolo sbrisolona and white (because I do not like coffee so I do not like the traditional tiramisu).
Here, now, I miss the second. Do you have any idea?
